In accordance with NALB Rule 8.01 UMPIRE REGISTRATION: All umpires that wish to participate as an official with the Nebraska American Legion Baseball program must review the Umpire presentation, complete the registration, and pay the yearly $40.00 application fee prior to your first game worked or by the deadline date specified on the nelegionbaseball.net/umpire information.

1. Late umpire registrations will be handled on a case-by-case basis by your Area Umpire Representative.
2. Umpires that register past the deadline date will not be considered for State Tournament assignment.
3. Umpires must be at least 18 years of age
4. Umpires must understand and agree with the NALB Code of Conduct
5. Umpires must understand and agree with the NALB Umpire Dress Code.
6. Umpires that are on a programs roster as a coach, will not be allowed to officiate any level of Nebraska American Legion Baseball unless individual is approved by the NALB Umpire Committee,

 PENALTY: Failure to register by the specified date will make the umpire ineligible to work games during that season. If it is reported that an unregistered official is on the field, that umpire will be suspended from participation for the remainder of that season. Suspended umpires must submit an application to the NALB Umpire Committee and be approved for reinstatement.
